I'm Associate Professor Stars in the Statistics Group, Department of Basic Sciences and Environment, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

I carry out consulting, research, and teaching in statistics with special emphasis on applications in agriculture, biology, toxicology, and veterinary science. Current research interests are dose-response modelling, the interface between functional data analysis and repeated measurements analysis, and statistical methods in toxicology.

I am author of the book Nonlinear Regression with R (jointly with J. C. Streibig).

I'm the main developer of the extension package drc for analysis of dose-reponse curves (dose could be any stimulus that elicits some biological or other type of response). It is an extension for the open source environment R.
