The main purpose for the Graduate School on Metal Ions in Biological Systems (MIBS) is to unite the teaching of Ph.D. students in the field of bio-inorganic chemistry in Denmark.
The main research topics are aimed at understanding, on a molecular level, how metal ions are involved in the fundamental chemical processes of living organisms.
